The initial gesture (a note repeated at different speeds and played with one bow and different dynamics) is at the same time an acoustic and a generating figure. The seven sections divided in four subsections are their expression projected in time.

The formal continuity of the piece makes this renewed ostinato figure more or less perceptible, in particular through the selective use of reverberation.

Two interpolations interrupt this process, presented by a polyphonic cello solo that can be divided into two, three, four, five or six voices, the very end being but the exhaustion by directed entropy of the possibilities of a single gesture.
